The Mustard Tree Support Centre

Companions, on the 1st June, I visited The Mustard Tree Macmillan Cancer Support Centre at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with our Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Christopher Roach, where we had the pleasure of presenting the Centre with a cheque for £500 to help the staff at The Mustard Tree with their work.  The Mustard Tree Macmillan Cancer Support Centre is available to anyone affected by cancer (at any stage of the illness). It offers a cosy and comfortable environment for patients, relatives and carers to share concerns, ask questions and access a range of support. The Centre is staffed by Macmillan professionals and trained volunteers and more information can be found here Mustard Tree, cancer patient support (plymouthhospitals.nhs.uk)

This presentation is the latest in a series of donations made by the MEGS from the Grand Superintendents Fund and which are made possible due to the generosity of all the Companions throughout the Province.
