Companions,
Our new ME Grand Superintendent E.Comp. Nick Ball has just announced that those attending the Service of Thanksgiving for the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day to be held in Exeter Cathedral may wear either Craft regalia or Royal Arch regalia to help highlight a new era in the close Masonic relationship between the two Orders. The service will take place in Exeter Cathedral on Thursday 8th May at 5:30 p.m. when a special evensong will
include a parade of 80 Masonic Lodge Banners from all three Provinces and the names of fallen Brethren will also be called from the three Provinces. Along with the Provincial Grand Masters of the three Provinces we will be honoured by the presence of The Assistant Grand Master, Right Worshipful Brother David J. Medlock and The Most Excellent Third Grand Principal Gareth Jones. O.B.E.
This memorable Service is anticipated to take about one hour and with our Masonic Regalia and Lodge Banners it should be a very special and colourful occasion. Regalia should be brought in soft bags to be placed under the seating and Grand Officers and those Brethren parading in will receive separate instructions.
Most of the car parks will be clearing at this time of day and there are several Park and Ride services available.
