Provincial Grand Chapter of Devonshire Savage Ritual
The Devonshire Savage Ritual is a streamlined, efficient version of the Royal Arch Exaltation
Ceremony, originally practiced by the Savage Club Chapter No. 2190. It eliminates repetition,
shortens the ceremony and keeps the candidate fully present in the room throughout.
Developed to make the ceremony more engaging and easier to understand, the Savage Ritual has
seen a massive surge in popularity across English Freemasonry as Chapters look to increase
membership, enhance retention and accommodate modern practices.
