Plymouth Freemasons came together this week in support of Goosewell Primary Academy.
Maristow Chapter 2725 , St George Chapter 2025 together with Walter Raleigh Lodge 2958 and the Fidelity Huish Mark Lodge 91 presented cheques to the value of £1000 to Mrs Laura Warren and Mrs Jo Penk of Goosewell Primary Academy.
The money will be used by the family support organisation within the school to provide Christmas hampers for families needing support. These hampers include long life foods, essential household items and, where possible, a voucher for a local supermarket so that fresh food can be purchased. Funds are also used to assist with schools uniform items that may be needed.
It is fantastic to see local Freemasons working together and supporting a worthy cause in the lead in to the Festive season.
