There were no ‘men in white coats’ today but there were men in blue as the Most Excellent Grand Superintendant and his Deputy, along with E.Comps Chris Taylor and Arthur Blamey visited Exeter University Research Centre and met Dr Sarah Bailey and some of her team.
Dr Bailey is heading a project researching the causation and prevention of Prostate Cancer and many of you will recall the seminar that was funded by the Royal Arch last year to raise awareness of this all to common illness.
As a result of the generosity of the Companions across Devon, on your behalf, E.Comp Chris Roach was able to make a donation towards this research project of £8000. The money was given from the proceeds of the Royal Arch Summer Draw and the MEGS Fund. It was gratefully received and will be faithfully applied.
